The effect of economic growth on income inequality in Sub-Saharan Africa

In this paper, the way in which economic growth influences income distribution is examined with a focus on Sub-Saharan Africa (SSA). Despite considerable number of SSA countries, region has been slow reversing rising trend inequality. A large proportion countries globally rank among economies extreme The study covers period from 1995 to 2015, due limited data measure inequality, Gini index, for largest region.
